Plain re-usable box prevides a clean andd easy to look at package and addresses environmental and sustainable issues. This is  a close up of Frutiger type family used on the packaing to create a clear and contemporary solution. This label address issues of information overload. By reducing the amount of unessisary information we are left with a purely functional and uncluttered productA packaging design and branding concept for choice terrific tea co. a company that specialised in green teas. The idea behind this packaging was to demonstrate the companies  quirky and bold brand values. The orange catches your eye through mimicing the way that light hits the bottle, its warm and inviting, it wants you to pick it up and enjoy it. The typography is hand crafted to be joyous and upbeatRalph Hotere book design. Although Hotere is a contemporary artist I chose the classic combination two justified colums with the beautiful and highly legible Adobe Jenson pro used for the book's copy text. The traditional use of typography provides a credibility to the book. I juxtaposed Jenson with a more contemporary use of Helvetica Neu for titles and capter openingsBooklet design with the intention of describing the proccess of design. Cardboard cutout people photoshoot was created by placing tiny little people and photographing them on newtown golf course in Wellington on a windy day, yikes. This image features suprised Adrian the Ocotopus floating in a landscape rather than portrait format.Animal number 3 is depresed Alex the Elephant.
